I am just here temporary, I am glad that it wasn't a bad case. It made me feel for my mother when I was growing up and had waist long hair and got nits. Thankfully I had my hair cut shorter a few weeks back, otherwise it might have been a different story!
another tip ... buy a humongous bottle of cheap conditioner and add a bit of eucalyptus or tee tree oil. saturate dry hair with it and comb through with one a lice comb every few days til they're gorn.

best thing in the world for nits is a decent drowning overnight in hair conditioner...commiserations BIQ..
