I love camping. Kids'll go nuts for it. Husby will curl into a foetal ball and endure.
Everyone pray for good weather for us please....we need no rain, around 27 degrees, sunny, post Christmas for a week.

ReplyDeletethat sounds divine, wilms :D and your kids will be in feral heaven if they're anything like mine. all that wonderful dirt and chaos ... and they just adapt and revel! unlike your hubby, apparently :(
will request suitable weather for yooz. meanwhile you can do same - cause we're off for a few days of tenting ourselves. normally we avoid summer camping like the plague, but kids are dead keen to get salty and such, so I'll be in the long sleevet-shirt and hippy pantaloons, under an umbrella, while they romp and get filthy.
say, I like the sound of your wilso's prom spot. we're going the usual unpowered, national park thing ourselves, but familiar turf. might have to check out tidal river one of these years.
I'm with Mr. Pianist there. Happy to spend the day in the sun & surf, but I want my own shower, un-communal toilet, & mozzie-free bedding for the evenings.
