Yeah that is the way I remember Melbourne, a person could be driving along, north of the divide, in spring sunshine, yet once over the divide a person would find themselves entering winter once again.
I am currently playing tourist in Melbourne until the weekend. Am meeting a few people off of the forums, but not any of the forums you frequent (or used to frequent whichever the case may be). From Melbourne, I am making my way to NSW for a week of catching up with a friend. Total relaxation.
Other than that, it is the same ol' same ol' for me. I am just enjoying the break and thankful for some nice weather.
