oh I say, wilms, just ocurred to moi that while northern exposey is all about non-urban non-conformity set against a soundtrack of awesome folk music, it IS actually considered sci fi. you'll understand why when you get around to watching. anyhoo, surrealist is probably more accurate a genre descriptor, but there's none such so it gets lumped in with star trek et al.
