Not saying it's not an iconic song, but I never bought an album that was recorded BB (ie before my birth) other than perhaps the Doors. Then not counting albums from primary school eg Arrival, the albums I have played relentlessly are all from age 15+
I heard the announcer say yesterday that the typical JJJ listener is 18-24, at uni, & working a part-time job. Now this lot have probably never even bought an album, & just download singles.
The majority of the albums voted in were from the 90s, so probs voted in by folks aged 30-50.
I voted for albums which I - own - loved at the time - still love now so defend my vote for Powderfinger like a true fangirl. :)
