yes her voice was genius in such a kid, but.... As Russell Brand, addict that he is, pointed out, there are many many people out there killing themselves in much the same way, without the fame or genius Amy had. And we still dont know how to treat them.
Lucky I was so burdened down with Real Life at 27 I never had the chance to de-rail. But, as you say, it's an exasperating business to deal with for family & friends of the sufferer.
So many singers who are desperate for that kind of chance. A waste indeed.
