dental hygeine and early man
picked this one up on a whim at one buck wednesday this week, and was pleasantly surprised. had me glued for the duration. some slightly silly moments (polar bears) but otherwise a mesmerising look into the deep past - thankfully portrayed as accurately as current archeology and anthropology allows. some very dirty sex and a fair bit of clubbing and other stone aged misadventure, so don't watch with tenders.
was quietly tickled at the thought of the painted (and most brutal) people being ancestors of the fronchies :p

ReplyDeleteWhen you said clubbing, I thought you meant nightclubbing...I'm sure I've seen people painted like that & frothing at the mouth at nightclubs & the toilets can certainly be that feral...oh,never mind...

ReplyDeletecept, I'm always prone to pick up your fronch and german flickage. and for whatever reasons, my local seems to always have plenty of both in the new releases dept. stuff that hardly makes it to independent cinema here, sadly.
