Never managed to watch Northern exposure, so didnt get the tearjerking effect quite as strongly. But oh yes...this is a powerful toon, aint it? And Iris is 'mazing.... I'm feeling a Canberra National 2012 coming on...lets have a 10 forward song meet there!

ps: you defs should try northern exposure, wilms. that snippet isn't a good indicator of just what a treasure it was. quirky before quirky became common, funny, earthy, surreal, wordy, clever, and chock full of bewdifully drawn characters. a 6 year homage to eccentricity and non-conformism, set against the alaskan wilderness. loves it to bits and pieces!
hey betts, I don't think it could jerk a duct of a non-fan, somehow. it's a teary cause it was the very final episode after 6 years. and because of the chris and maggie thang :p
